Elected Director to BOMA Board
Chris Matejka,
VP Sales & Marketing was elected to the BOMA Greater Akron Board of
Directors. Additionally, Chris was chosen as a member of BOMA
Greater Cleveland’s Sustainability Committee.

Companies
Brian Whitaker, CEO of the Atlantis
Companies, is pleased to announce the selection and promotion of
Chris Matejka to Vice President, Sales & Marketing, for three
Atlantis Companies. Chris will act as a primary point of contact
for new clients for The Atlantis Security
Management Company, Quota Contract Cleaning Services, and
Search First Information Services. In
this position Chris will support the existing client base, and
represent Atlantis services to prospective clients and customers of

Chris is an 18
year veteran of Atlantis, working the front lines in a variety of
roles within the companies, from service provider to trainer to
senior division manager, most recently with Quota Contract Cleaning.
With his well-rounded experience of both sales and operations, “He
is the ideal candidate for this new and important role,” said Brian
Whitaker, “as no one else has such an in-depth knowledge of and
vantage point on the myriad ways we can serve our clients.”
In addition, Chris has a vast knowledge of the Award Winning
OS(1) Green Cleaning Program for Quota Contract Cleaning, the
Security Officer Training Programs for Atlantis Security, and
background checks and due diligence investigations for Search First
Information Services.
Individuals within the Atlantis organizations are members of
B.O.M.A. of Greater Cleveland and B.O.M.A. of Akron, ASIS
International, ASIS Cleveland, National Association of Professional
Background Screeners, and the Society for Human Resource Management.

often after hours, are reliable and trustworthy is a critical
factor. That's why we ensure that all Quota applicants, as
a matter of policy, are subject to a pre-employment screening and
background check performed by professionals. This is performed before being hired and
assigned to your property. Employees are periodically checked and
tested on a random basis, including drug testing, to ensure ongoing security for our clients.
This is a matter of policy and procedure to provide peace of mind
and eliminate potential problems - we know and respect and trust our
employees - for our clients. It works. We pay attention, and
security is built in, integrated, in our services and operations
from the very start.
We verify the social security number as valid and properly
issued, review county and federal criminal records, examine the
driving records of each applicant, prior employments and personal
references, and more. We abide by all Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)
regulations and the many other rules and regulations governing
background checks.
